What is a job?
Any job is better then no job. But! Why is it that some think that they have to have a title in order to do the job? Once, people would barter just to get by. Is it not better to make and have friends because they like you, and not because they like your job title? Some go to college, get in debt, and although the job they end up working at has nothing to do with their college course choice, they have to take any job to pay the college debt???? Wouldn't it be nice to go to work and enjoy your job? Most go to work and hate the job but learn to live with working at that job. They continue working a job they despise for title and/or pay, a pay that is reduced by 40% due to taxes and other fees. If one could learn to live with the stress at a job they hate, could they not learn to live with a job that may pay less and offer no title? Could they not learn to live on that reduced paycheck? I am not implying that one should not work any job unless it is their dream job. There are, after all, responsibilities that must be met. It just seems that to work a less stressful, and therefore more enjoyable, job could offer more to a persons life than a job title and large paycheck. One example, less responsiblity at work may mean more time at home. -God Loves All His Children |
