Brighten Up Your Mood
Project 015 - 03-10-2018
Materials
Basket, which was gifted to us with goodies during Christmas time. Maybe you can find something from around your house, a nice basket, a decorative bucket, or even a glass/mug that has been retired because of small chips (just be sure it is safe to be used).
Cut sponges for filler and topper, your choice of color. We used leftover sponges from other projects.
Packaging styrofoam to hold the flowers. We saved our styrofoam from product packages.
Artificial flowers of your choice. We chose bundled flowers that were less expensive, and we were able to just cut the stems to stick into the styrofoam.
Optional, bird nest or little critters of your choice.
Scissors/wire cutters to cut flower stems and sponges. The styrofoam you should be able to break with your hand. Since the styrofoam is hidden by the sponges, the unevenness of the styrofoam will not be seen.
