Do you know who you are? Did you become who you wanted to be or did you become who someone wanted you to be?
You only have one life to live. You should do your best to be the person you want to be. Don't live a life just because you get paid for it. Don't try to follow others, or stress yourself to compete with successful people. Don't be afraid to follow your dream. Be yourself and remember the importance of the people in your life.
School is very important, and finishing high school is one of the things that you should complete for a more promising future in the workforce.
College is the next step, but the cost of college in todays times has become so expensive that a large percentage of young adults cannot afford to pay. It seems that college is now a lifetime debt.
I've heard of many who have gone to college for one career choice, only to work in a completely different field after graduation. Sometimes, this fact is due to the necessity of needing any employment to pay off college debt.
I know many who worked their way up in their choice of business, many who climbed up the corporate ladder without that college debt. Most of these people began in the professions they wanted to work, and climbing up the corporate ladder allowed for them to learn along the way, in addition with the gained understandings that usually could not be learned in a class room.
One thing to note, is how important it is to remember your journey up the ladder. Be true, honest, and proud of your background. The way of the ladder can be hard work, but remembering can give you appreciation and understanding with the people who are climbing their way below you.
Do ask yourself if your occupation is safe; for you, your family, the Earth, your community, and your descendants. A nice paycheck is not worth it if you are hurting yourself or others just to get the job done.
One thing, if you get kicked off the ladder, just dust yourself off and start climbing again. It may be hard, but nothing is impossible with level-headed ambition.
Always be proud that you are doing your best.
